I really think this going to help me
A whole large carton of egg whites is 450 calories 97 grams of protein and 0 carbs, 0 fat. You can add cheese and turkey bacon to that and still be under what that 1 sandwich had. This is not the best you can do.
Why is a grown man eating only 1400 calories?

I eat my three square meals a day clean eating more protein on lunch and dinner because of work and being active and weight lifting, a snack before lunch, a dessert at the end of the day and I don't have to worry about weight gain brotha, I used to be fat, now I feel like a fit basketball player without basketball

I could never lose weight until I started thinking about food in ethical terms. Once I started thinking about overeating in terms of excess, and eating less in terms of asceticism, then it came naturally. Counting calories helped me retrain myself to know how much is too much. I'm 5'9'' about 168 and I try to stick to 1500 calories a day, which is about a 500 calories deficit for me. Recently, I've started a low intensity resistance training routine, and I try to walk about 1 hour a day. I've lost about 50 lbs over the last year. Keep up the good work.

I cut on 2400 to 2700, depending on my activity, and I'm always hungry
It’s just better to fast and then have all the calories in one meal which fills you up. Obviously making sure to balance out your fats, protein and etc. Eating like this just isn’t sustainable. How can you call one piece of meat and a few peas dinner 💀, basically just eat snacks for every meal.

Looks so tasty! I’m currently doing 1000 to 1200 cals per day. I used to consume about 3,000 a day which I waaay too much and gained a ton of weight over the years. When I was younger I lived just fine on 1000 a day. I’m a 5’3” female tho lol. How long did you do 1200 cals? I’m only on day 5.

I love your no nonsense advice but I’m in a predicament. I’m 5’5 male I weighed 187 pounds beginning of January 2024 now it is July 2024 and I am 136 pounds. I have lost 50 pounds in around 6 months. I follow your advice mainly and I want to stress that I am meticulously tracking my calories using my fitnesspal. It’s been around a month I haven’t lost any weight. I am eating 1300 calories a day. I watch your what I eat in a day videos as a gauge just to make sure I am not overeating. What is going on? I am still skinny fat and want to lose the last belly fat and love handles.

Instead of wasting calories on the sandwich, a very good option for a delicious lunch is to get 99% lean ground turkey Take a very small amount of chopped celery, carrot, onion, garlic, mushroom, kale into a food processor until fine and mix with meat, add pepper if you wish! Cook it up with light oil in a skillet Either eat as is or eat with 1/2 cup of brown or jasmine rice Very wonderful, tastes good even fresh out of fridge if seasoned right! No bueno on the 2x sugar in a black coffee, just drink it straight or try to reduce sugar until taste adjusts. Added sugars arent good, sugars you add yourself are even worse is my motto imo I just use energy drinks only as needed. If you get your day going with a run you'll have more energy!

@shannonbillowsfitness It's easy to define health, aiming for a proper protein intake, a correct/long-term sustainable diet change you can consistently stick to and adjust to meet daily intake needs. I may be wrong, but I define health as a state of existence where an individual's body meets the required markers for optimal function. Sleep, hydration, nutrition, etc. I think health is just a state of being where you feel your most capable, confident, and able self, meeting new PR goals at the gym maybe, going that extra 100 steps on that walk, a lifestyle that keeps you motivated with small wins every day.
@@MarsmallowCreme The thing is you can't define health because health is different for everyone, as an example. when we just look at things like protein intake or gym PRs, we might be missing out on other big parts of health, like how we're feeling mentally or how we're connecting with others. Health isn't just about numbers and achievements-it's also about feeling good in your head. Also, defining health by how "capable" or "confident" we feel can be super subjective. What's doable for one person might be way out of reach for another because of different life situations or body types. Everyone must get to define health in a way that makes sense for them. And then, there’s the idea that health is about hitting all your daily goals or pushing yourself a bit further on your walk. It sounds good, but it could be misleading. You could be nailing these goals but ignoring bigger issues like stress or even physical injuries just to hit those marks. Plus, not everyone can keep up with strict diets or regular gym sessions. Stuff like chronic illnesses, disabilities, or just not having enough time or money can throw a wrench in those plans. Health goals need to be flexible and realistic to really work for everyone. Lastly, while it’s great to feel motivated on your own, sometimes we need a bit of professional advice to manage our health properly. It's not just about what we see and feel-sometimes it's the stuff we can't see that needs the most attention. So when I want a sandwich and it fits my personal goals, mental state, mood, protein etc.. It's meeting my health goals in the moment.

The meals were pretty good idk why people are complainning, realistically we're not eating tons of fruits and vegetables everyday. The only thing i would change is the added sugar
Honestly this is a safe road to making yourself sad, sick and gain weight instead of losing it. Ever heard of the Jojo effect? Sorry to be unfriendly, but with so many people esp women struggling with disordered eating, it makes me angry to see someone posting stuff like this. You cannot live on 1200cal a day! Cross this idea out of your mind, diets/cutting down food do NOT work. Eat until your full goddamn. ❤

What can you recommend for training for people like me who have scoliosis and on top of that severe disc herniations on the neck - means my hands are really weak and I can’t do any weights training. (I’m 37, female)
@@r2d2693 hey, if you can’t do any resistance training then cardio is probably you’re best bet to increase calorie expenditure. I lost 40 kilos purly by walking and eating a high protein low calories diet

The sandwich was a very poor choice lot of calories just to feel hungry an hour later.
53 y/o female. Need to loose 10kg. Can't really exercise due to OA/gluteus medius tear and bursitis. I am OK with what/how much to eat but not sure what to do for burning calories

I would stick to this diet for twenty minutes. that's how long the banana would keep me satisfied in the morning.
As a student I usually don’t have time nor think of breakfast until 12/1pm 🥲 then I eat lunch like 4pm and dinner at 8
I’m 63 and vegan for 8 years. You could have more food for 1200 calories if you went vegan.
2 sugar cubes and a banana. Seriously? Sugar is useless, you could have replaced it with protein. Instead you decided to stay hungry with your sugar
ok 1200 calories...not bad... but then you go to the gym after work and in a normal work out including 30 minutes of cardio you lose what, 400-500 calories at most and you ate 1200 then still 700 calories...so how does it work with calory deficit plan?
